Full Stack Engineer

Adopt Ag is looking for a full time Full-Stack Software Engineer. This role will be responsible for the development of information systems and web interfaces for clients in the agricultural industry.

 

As an engineer you should be able to prioritize well, communicate clearly, work across multiple facets of the project and juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time. If you have a strong analytic capability coupled with a willingness to take ownership over the projects you work on, this could be your opportunity to come on board with us.

Work Profile

As a full-stack engineer, you will need to produce and implement functional software solutions. You will work with senior management in an agile development cycle to assist in building data pipeline infrastructure and frontend frameworks. Your goal will be to develop high-quality, secure, and compliant software that is aligned with customer needs and business goals.

We will be building data dashboards and data entry systems that will need to be secure, easy to navigate, and robust. Ideal candidates are someone is interested in working in the agricultural/climate tech industry and building clean, beautiful software for our clients.

Time Allocation:

~60-70% direct individual contribution.

~20-30% management/planning.

~10% meetings and administration.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience building web based software

  • Experience in a web framework such as Next.js, Ruby on Rails, or Django.

  • Experience with the agile development model

  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with agricultural producers

  • Experience in frontend design

  • Experience building software for non-technical users
